Ceramic Flower Vase Blue Black Tan Fruit on Cream Basketweave Japan For consideration is this vintage ceramic flower vase made in Japan. It has a cream basketweave background for a fruit medley on 2 sides (grapes, cherries, apples, peaches) surrounded by green leaves. Starting at the top is a tan rim followed by a blue rope band, another tan band and a black base or foot line. This was hand painted, there are faux black handles (too small to be useful), and the finish is glossy. It measures 5¾ inches tall, the mouth measures 3¾ inches in diameter and the base measures 3 7/8 inches in diameter. The base is stamped in black ink “Made In Japan”. There are 3 spots along the rim where there is no glaze or the glaze has chipped. There are no nicks, chips, cracks, repairs, scratches or discoloration noted. With a magnifying glass you can see overall crazing. Buyer will pay shipping on a 2 pound box. Thank you for looking!
